Tamagotchi Update #3

Unfortunately little Finn passed away while I was at work...

I forgot how much attention these creatures need! It's very hard to take care of them if you've got a job to go to.

For this reason I shall wait until I am on a proper holiday before raising another Tamagotchi.

It is a shame that my first attempt in many years at using this game didn't work out too well..

I'll of course let you all know if I have a new Tamagotchi baby.

A Bath of Flowers

Yesterday evening I decided to try out the Tisty Tosty bath bomb, mainly for its soothing purposes, as I wanted to relax after a rather energetic Saturday.
This bath bomb wasn't at all coloured, so my bath remained the same (I was saddened because I like colourful bath products). However, what it lacked in colour it made up for in scent and atmosphere.
It fizzed quickly and released a wonderful combination of flowery and vanilla scents. As a bonus, this bomb also releases many little flowers which float around while you enjoy the smells.
It made for a fantastic little paradise of a bath.
I would love it even more if there was a bit of colour thrown in, but it's still a great product.
While I was in the bath I also had some lavender and rose tea from Ovvio, which paired wonderfully with the flowery bath.
I suggest you grab a herbal cup of tea with this bath bomb.
Ovvio stocks many fantastic organic products, I suggest you try their activated organic macadamia nuts. They're unbelievably delicious (and each one tastes like a cookie!)
Check out Ovvio's website here, or pop into their store in Paddington, Sydney if you're nearby!

Are there any teas you would have with a bath? What's the best floral bath product you like? Let me know in the comments below.
I'd love to hear back from you guys so I can try out your suggestions!

Homeware Haul #2

Hey hey,
I said I'd show you what I bought right?
Newtown happens to be filled with many charming vintage and antique shops, which is exactly where I went to buy these items. Check out the photos!
There's a fantastic lantern in a beautiful mint green colour which I've been pairing with bath time, it creates a mesmerizing glow in the room. I use tealights for it.
The three little houses are all vintage tea tins, so I'm using them to hold sugar and tea at the moment. I couldn't help but buy all three as a set. They look adorable all together don't they?
The glass decanter is actually quite small, and therefore a bit less common than most crystal decanters you'd see. I've tested it out with some strong stout, and will likely use it with whisky or scotch. The decanter itself just seemed like a lovely piece to own.
Lastly, there's the fantastic tiered cake stand. Did you look closely? It's made of old records!!! Hahaha.
I thought this was an extremely clever way to reuse the records. It looks fantastic hosting the little cupcakes I made.
Keep an eye out for more homeware hauls coming soon. I'll be buying some products hopefully from Typo's new store.
Are there any home items you guys can recommend for me to buy? Let me know in the comments below!

First Lush Haul

Hello again!

I've been pretty busy with homeware hauling, look out for some posts later today!

Anyways... Guess who went shopping at Lush?

I bought several bath products which I shall be posting about over the next couple of days (as I use them).

The first was a bath bomb: The Big Blue

This is a fantastic product which I found really lived up to its expectation as a calming and relaxing product. It's a combination of seaweed, lemon and lavender which almost sent me to sleep.

Needless to say, I would highly recommend it. Also, like the name says it is indeed a big blue bomb, as you can see from the photos it turned by little bath tub into a miniature ocean.

This is also a great bath product as it is one of the cheaper Lush bath bombs.
This is important when you are a broke student.

Let me know if you've ever used The Big Blue! Any recommendations?

Just comment below.

I'll be posting my next bath product soon.
